Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Collabo ("the app", "the service"), operated by Ethan Lee ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using Collabo, you agree to these terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Collabo. By using the app, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are between 13 and 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agrees to these terms.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately at privacy@collabo.cloud.

We reserve the right to disable or delete accounts that violate these terms.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use Collabo for any unlawful purpose
Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
Create events or invites containing hateful, violent, or sexually explicit content
Impersonate another person or entity
Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
Interfere with or disrupt the service (e.g. automated scraping, denial-of-service)
Use the service to send spam or unsolicited invites at scale
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the service

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you create (events, profile information, messages). By using Collabo, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content as necessary to operate the service — for example, showing your event title to people you invite.

We do not claim ownership of your content and will not use it for purposes unrelated to operating Collabo.

5. Sponsored Events

Collabo may deliver sponsored event notifications from third-party sponsors. These are clearly identified. Sponsors do not have access to your personal data. You may receive sponsored events based on your approximate geographic location. We reserve the right to include sponsored content in the service.

6. Availability and Changes

Collabo is provided "as is." We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time without prior notice. We may update these terms from time to time — continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

7. Termination

You may stop using Collabo at any time. You may request account deletion by contacting us — deletion is permanent and irreversible.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, with or without notice.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Collabo and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, use, or profits, arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability for any claim related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (which, for a free service, is $0).

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ethan Lee and Collabo from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service or your violation of these terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with applicable law.
